Each typical floor plate accommodates a central service core, with a three-bedroom unit facing the road and a two-bedroom unit positioned at the rear. The public zones—living, dining, and kitchen—were kept as open as possible, minimizing partition walls to create a sense of spaciousness and airiness within the compact layout. The living and dining areas form a continuous rectangular volume, flanked by full-length French doors on either side. This not only enhances cross-ventilation and daylighting but also promotes better spatial flow. The bedrooms come with road-facing balconies, offering ample natural light but raising concerns around privacy.

For the elevation, we developed a design strategy inspired by the idea of reimagining the jharokha. We took the age-old Indian concept of jaali and jharokha and give it a modern spin by cutting the TV jaali pattern in metal sheets through CNC, to reign the breeze into the apartment complex. Large punctures were strategically placed across the elevation canvas in order to give uninterrupted views from the balconies that span the breadth of the building at each floor. This ensures privacy as well as balcony views.
