PONDI PROMENADE

This pair of Airbnbs sits right on the Pondicherry Promenade, accessed by a spiral staircase from the ground floor, offering a picturesque arrival experience.

Planned linearly—on a compact 20' x 80' footprint—the two units are placed one behind the other, connected by a shared core. The front unit enjoys uninterrupted views of the beach, a strong contextual cue that influenced both the spatial layout and interior tone. In contrast, the rear unit overlooks the lush green landscape of Aurohouse next door, offering a quieter, garden-like backdrop.

Our approach focused on creating compact yet comfortable spaces that feel cozy, inviting, and fun. The color palettes were thoughtfully chosen to respond to their respective contexts:

The front unit is rendered in shades of white with accents of blue, echoing the breezy, sun-washed atmosphere of the seashore.

The rear unit embraces a warmer palette with earthy browns, complementing the verdant surroundings.
